JOHNSON'S AUTO REPAIR
BRANDING, WEB, AND PRINT DESIGN FOR A SEATTLE BUSINESS
A SMALL, FAMILY-RUN BUSINESS
Johnson's Auto Repair is a neighborhood shop in north Seattle. They’re a little old school, but in the best way — honest and direct with their customers. Their previous identity was old school in the worst way.
My task was to develop a friendly, fresh brand system that paid homage to the shop's roots without feeling old-fashioned.
(A BIT OF MY MOODBOARD)
Strong, clean design; vintage auto paraphernalia; simple color palettes.
THE FINAL CREATIVE
Logo + business card, site design, and photoshoot direction.
A SIMPLE WEB PRESENCE
A simple, single-page site enables customers old and new to easily contact the shop. Links to third-party review sites, business history, and friendly portraits create a sense of trust and accountability that's totally welcome in the car repair industry.
Sole designer on the project.
Responsible for the branding concept/execution, site design, copy editing, and art direction of an on-site photoshoot.
